Beginning the Search

Meeting of 2/28/08
Great work tonight folks!  I appreciated so much how you’ve thought carefully about your teaching and the problems that are perplexing you.  As promised, here’s the information for the next step of the process.

Searching
  1. Remember that last summer Doug Triplett introduced us to many new search sites.  Feel free to use any of those, if you still have them (I’m trying to locate that page in order to give you a link here).  Until then, go ahead and use google for your search.
  2. Search for web sites that have information relating to your topic.  When you find one that has information relating to your topic, complete an analysis of that site, using one of the protocols below.  You will be analyzing two different web sites and should use two different protocols.
  3. Post your analysis for each web site on your blog (include a link to the site you are analyzing so others can visit it).
